Here in France, we have turkey or chicken “ham” in halal places but it’s not like procsciutto, it’s cooked of course.

hi, these owners of this place are probably muslims (as i can undrestand from the name of the cafe: “masal” means “dream” both in Turkish and in Arabic- also I see some arabic writings on the black board) and therefore do not eat pork/ham. that’s why they came up with the ham-free version of prosciutto (probably only beef) and named it pussito:) to make it sound like prosciutto. i don’t think such a thing exists… they probably came up with the name to attract both muslims and any other religion…

Probably made of beef with the name similar to prosciutto for easier marketing. The second menu item’s salami is probably also beef – an attempt to capture some of the lucrative Hardware Lane breakfast trade, or at least not to exclude those who require halal.
